Among other things this enables the marshals to switch off friendly fire (great for kids) and run two seperate games side by side without the risk of shooting each other out.
Plus we can vary sound effects - machine gun, rifle and
'Sci-Fi' style shots, include or exclude 'friendly fire' and for lo-light or sniper games add simulated muzzle flash and 'red-dot' scopes for pin-point shooting.
